Strawberry Slush Spinner Card

Before I show off my card for today, I want to say that this month my blog hit 20,000 blog visits and 500 posts! I really wowed myself with those stats! Thank you to all of you who regularly visit and to my 83 Followers! I am so thankful for each and every one of you!

You might remember the Spinner Card I showed on April 9! I enjoyed it so much I had my Happy Stampers make one last week! The inspiration for this card came from Dawn Olchefske at DO Stamping with Dawn

For this card I used the following Stampin' Up! supplies:

  • Card stock: Strawberry Slush (new InColor), Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White and Lucky Limeade (retiring)
  • Sentiment from retired Birthday stamp set
  • Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper
  • Punches: Large Tag, Small Tag, Word Window
  • Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
  • Other: Two pennies; Dimensionals (lots); brad (retired)
I am thinking this will be my granddaughter's birthday card next month!

See you soon!

Triple Time Stamping

I was waiting for the Sunday Night Chit-Chat but not sure it's happening tonight so will post this one instead.

I taught my daughter how to do Triple Time Stamping last week and she loved it! She also really liked The Open Sea stamp set and put it on her Christmas "wish list".

For this card we used the following Stampin' Up! products:

  • Baja Breeze and Whisper White card stock
  • Stamp sets: The Open Sea and Sassy Salutations
  • Classic Stampin' Pads: Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse and Cherry Cobbler
  • Dimensionals
My daughter wanted to try the Triple Time Stamping with the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set so made the card on the right.

For this card we used the following Stampin' Up! products:
  • Card stock: Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White
  • Stamp sets: Betsy's Blossoms and Day of Gratitude
  • Classic Stampin' Pads: Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade and Summer Sun (retired)
  • Dimensionals, Basic Pearl and 1/4" Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
As usual, I have Dawn Olchefske to thank for this great technique! I think she created a monster in me with this technique because I LOVE it!!!

Have a great day! Hugs the ones you love and hope you get some time to do something fun today!

Fabulous Florets Triple Time

I LOVE the Triple Time Stamping!!! It is so much fun to see how different stamp sets will look using this technique and the Fabulous Florets were truly fabulous!!! I will be forever grateful to Dawn Olchefske for her great video tutorial for making this card.

I am in a rush this morning so will make this post short...for me:)

For this project I used the following Stampin' Up! products:

  • Raspberry Ripple and Whisper White card stock
  • Fabulous Florets stamp set
  • Classic Stampin' Pads: Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals and Gumball Green
  • Dimensionals and some white grosgrain ribbon I had from an unknown source
I hope you like this card as much as I do! I will have another Triple Time Stamping card for you on Monday! I am hoping to do the Sunday Night Chit-Chat but will be traveling to my daughter's on Sunday so don't know if it will work out...hope so.

Have a great weekend and hope you are able to get some crafting worked in somewhere!  Happy Stamping!

Open Sea Triple Time Cards

This card was totally CASEd from Ann Schach at The Stampin' Schach. I love the Triple Time Stamping technique I first saw on Dawn Olchefske's blog, DO Stamping with Dawn but really wanted to try it with the Open Sea stamp set. I really like how this card turned out and sent it to my brother for his birthday--Happy Birthday baby brother:)

For this card I used the following Stampin' Up! supplies:

  • Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock
  • Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pads
  • Other: Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine; Button from Springtime Vintage Big Designer Buttons (retired); Glue Dots; Big Shot; Square Lattice Embossing Folder
NOTE: Be sure to stamp before you emboss:)

While I "liked" the card above, I LOVE this one!!! For this card I used Midnight Muse card stock and Midnight Muse Classic Stampin' Pad. To me, this card is striking! I am pretty sure I will be making a few more of these to put in my stash! Makes a great "guy" card and those are really hard to do (for me).

Have a great day and a wonderful weekend! The Oregon State Fair starts today:) We will be going next weekend--probably Sunday! Speaking of Sunday, meet me back here on Sunday night for the Sunday Night Chit-Chat! See you then!!!

Summer Smooches Thank You

Can you believe another card WITHOUT Dimensionals!!! So out of character for me but this card combines so many things that I really like! And I especially like the color combination of Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade! This card is the Thank You card I am sending to my customers for July. The inspiration for this card was again Dawn Olchefske at DO Stamping with Dawn. She is part of the Control Freaks group and their blog hops are truly inspirational! If you have time, do a "tour de Freaks" with the Control Freaks!

For this card I used the following Stampin' Up! products:
  • Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White card stock; Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper
  • Stamp sets: Sassy Salutations and Bright Blossoms
  • Classic Stampin' Pads: Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade
  • Other: Basic Pearls and White Grosgrain ribbon (from not sure where)
The original card I posted on July 20
I want to show you one more card today. It is actually the Comfort Cafe Shutter Card I posted on July 20. Since I already posted it I didn't think it deserved a separate post. I did a little Step-it Up before I sent it to my friend Nancy for her birthday.
New & Improved

I decided to use the Occasions Alphabet stamp set for extra sentiments because my friend Nancy is extra special:) I also added a Basic Rhinestone for the head of each butterfly. I really like the way it turned out and I think Nancy will to when she gets the card this week in the mail! Sometimes when I think a card is "missing something" I just have to look at it for a few days and ideas start coming.

I hope you have a wonderful Monday! Guess what? I have another card for you tomorrow!

Comfort Cafe Thank You

I am not a "blue" person. Blue is NEVER the first color I think of for ANYTHING!!! Nothing against people who like blue, it's just not MY personal favorite! However, I really like Stampin' Up!'s new Midnight Muse! It's somewhere between Night of Navy and Not Quite Navy and it goes sooo nice with the Soft Suede on this card. I hope you like it as much as I do. Thanks goes to Dawn Olchefske at DO Stamping with Dawn for this great card inspiration! I CASed it pretty close! Notice how I sponged Soft Suede ink on the dsp squares--makes a huge difference.

For this card I used the following Stampin' Up! products:

  • Card stock: Midnight Muse, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla
  • Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper
  • Perfectly Penned stamp set
  • Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Soft Suede 3/8" taffeta ribbon
What?!! No Dimensionals!!! I can't believe it!!! Just goes to show you CAN make a card without Dimensionals...I guess!

I have been having a good time making cards and have more to show you next week. I hope you'll visit again on Sunday for the Sunday Night Chit-Chat! I am really enjoying taking part in the Sunday Night Chit-Chat and I hope you enjoy it too! See you then! Kat

Triple Time Creative Elements

I figured out what was wrong with the camera. It was charged but...the battery was in backwards! Now, the SD card can only go in one way so why couldn't they make it so the battery could only go in one way??!!! Oh well, camera is charged, battery is in correctly and I was able to take pictures of my recent projects:)

I have two lovely ladies to credit for this card today. I first saw the card on Dawn Olchefske's blog DO Stamping with Dawn and I used her video tutorial to make this card. However, what inspired me to make this card was the one made by Kim Score at Paper Punch Addiction. This is a simple and fun way to make a super elegant card. Dawn's video tutorial is excellent!

For this card I used the following Stampin' Up! supplies:

  • Card stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red
  • Stamp set: Creative Elements
  • Classic Stampin' Pad: Basic Gray
  • 3/8" red ribbon from "who knows where" (not Stampin' Up!)
  • Dimensionals (how can you make a card without them??!!!)
Thanks for stopping by today! It is always so nice when you stop by to visit:) I am off to run errands and visit friends today but will be back again tomorrow with another card project that I CASed from Dawn Olchefske! What a talented lady!!!

A Little Love

My birthday is next month but Sunday night I got an early birthday present from my dear friend and Stampin' Up! downline, Margarita:) My husband and I love tea and frequently buy teas "just to try them out". Some are good; some are not! Anyway, I was overjoyed with this delightful Organic Tea Set for Two! I am planning to make myself a pot of tea to enjoy today.

Accompanying my wonderful new tea set was this card. I LOVE it!!! Not sure what color she used but the stamp sets are Mixed Bunch and Oval All (retired). She used the Scallop Oval Punch and the Large Oval Punch. She used Baker's Twine and a button to finish off her card. You can find a tutorial for making this card at Dawn Olchefske's website DO Stamping with Dawn. I am hoping to make one of these cards with my Happy Stampers soon!

Are you a tea drinker or a coffee drinker? What kind of tea do you like? What time of day do you prefer your tea?

Have a wonderful Tuesday. I sure hope it's warm (but not too hot) where you are. It won't even hit 70 degrees F here today:(  Kat
