S is for Sunday Night Chit-Chat

The Sunday Night Chit-Chat is initiated each week by Carla at My 1/2 Dozen Daily and one of my favorite posts to do each week!

My photo this week is of a baby afghan I am crocheting for the first baby of one of hubby's business suppliers. I have the perfect card picked out to make to accompany this gift but need to order the digital image; wait till you see it!

What am I...

Reading...Almost finished with Widow of Larkspur Inn. Not sure what I am going to start next.

Watching..Looking forward to catching up on Call the Midwife.

Listening to...Hubby has Internet radio playing.

Cooking/Baking...We are on holiday so it's not my responsibility:) My brother-in-law is a great cook so we have been enjoying his vegan delights! What a treat!

Happy I accomplished this week...I managed to get everything done and ready to leave for our holiday! That was quite an accomplishment! Fortunately I didn't forget anything important--just my hair gel and curling brush but neither of those was important.

Looking forward to next week...Holidays are fun but "there's no place like home" so getting back to our normal routine will be nice.

Thankful for today...That we were able to spend some quality time with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law:)

*Bonus Question* Fill in the blank: I am by far the biggest Paper snob!
I love paper but super good quality paper! Whenever I try to save a little money by purchasing card stock at some place other than Stampin' Up! I am always disappointed because the quality just isn't there. I am also a bit of a fabric snob in that I really like and use quilt quality cotton. It's more expensive but I know the fabric will last and keep it's color.

I hope you enjoyed the Sunday Night Chit-Chat (even though it was on Monday)! I will be back tomorrow with the letter T. Only one more week to go with the A to Z Blog Challenge!

    1. Thank you Carla! The baby afghans are my way to relax! My thinking is that there is no point in putting all the work into a project if you're not going to use quality materials!

  4. What a gorgeous baby afghan design, would you share where you got it? If it's an original, would you share the instructions, or are they for sale?

    1. The pattern came out of a magazine from 1974 or 75. I don't have the pattern as my mom showed me how to do it and I am not good at writing the pattern. I have showed several people how or make it over the years. Yes, I currently have 3 made and ready to sell...email me for particulars!
