Oh Baby!

These cards turned out sooo super cute! I have been wanting to make one for some time so when one of my Happy Stampers requested a baby card as one of our projects, it was the perfect opportunity to try it. My thanks go out to Becky Jensen at Stamp That for the great picture tutorial. The ladies had the choice of Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue or Daffodil Delight for their Baby Onesie Card. Hmmm...no one chose blue! Must not be any new little boys on the horizon.

The cards above were stamped with ducks on the yellow one; hearts and bears on the pink one. The one below was run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. A word of caution is you decide to make the embossed card: make all of your cuts before you run it through the Big Shot. Dry embossing breaks down the fibers in the paper so if you cut after embossing you might not get good clean cuts.

I have two baby afghans made so these cards will go perfect when babies arrive to give them to.

For these cards I used the following Stampin' Up products:

  • Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White card stock
  • Baby Bundle stamp set
  • Daffodil Delight and Pretty in Pink Classic Stampin' Pads
  • Punches: 1 3/8" Circle, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle, Scallop Edge Border, Circle from Itty Bitty Punch Pack
  • Other: Basic Pearls, Eyelets, White Grosgrain Ribbon (not Stampin' Up!)
Wait till you see tomorrow's card! Sooo pretty!!! But then again it's using one of my favorite stamp sets...Tea Shoppe! I will definitely sneak the Tea Shoppe in any time I get the chance:)

Have a great day!

Kat
