Card made for me by my granddaughter |
I am...
Reading...The Last Time They Met by Anita Shreve and Baby Blessed by Debbie Macomber. Our read aloud is Lando by Louis L'Amour--continuing in our trek through the Sackett series!
Listening to...Call of the Midwife on PBS and our English Bulldog, Rocky, snoring:)
Watching...Call of the Midwife
Cooking/Baking...We had pasta, salad and French bread today. Friday I baked a Chocolate Poorman's Cake.
Happy I accomplished this week...I walked on the treadmill twice last week and kept up with my A to Z Blog Challenge posts!
Looking forward to next week...My next Stampin' Up! order:) Stamping orders are always a little like Christmas!
Thankful for today...I am thankful for a comfortable place to live, good food to eat, a thoughtful husband and lots of good books to read:)
*Bonus Question* What is my preferred method for contacting someone (email, text, phone, letter, etc.)? I prefer email! It is quick and easy and communication is effective. However I do enjoy an occasional phone call from my daughter or one of my friends. I have been blessed to be receiving occasional phone calls from Cindy at Just North of Wiarton and South of the Checkerboard:) Thank you, Cindy! I check my email often and am pretty good about returning emails.
Well, that's it for my Sunday Night Chit-Chat! I will be back tomorrow with the letter Y!
Kat
I made the mistake of looking at the cake recipe. It looks good, but I'm trying to avoid sweets, at least until after my doctors appt. next week.
ReplyDeleteIt was my favorite cake as a child!
DeleteKat, your granddaughter is obviously taking after you with the looks of that beautiful card. I have really enjoyed our conversations; I will bring you up to speed once these puppies have made their entrance into the World. xx
ReplyDeleteShe takes after me in a lot of ways...loves shoes; likes to journal:) I look forward to your calls!
