I, too, prefer the beach to the mountains - though I have nothing against mountains! I also love fresh flowers. They bring a brightness to a room, even without a strong scent.
ReplyDeleteHappy A-Z!
Mountains are okay but love the ocean! I have a bouquet of white and yellow spider mums on my dining room table at the moment.
DeleteHello from A to Z. When I visited London, I wanted to try high tea somewhere, but we didn't have the chance. I'd like to visit there again and this time, I'll make time for my high tea no matter what!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of doing high tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria BC:) It's on my list!
DeleteIt's very nice to meet you. Aren't Grandkids the BEST!?!?
ReplyDeletePeanut Butter and Whine
Hard to beat time spent with my granddaughter:)
DeleteI did High Tea at the MacDonald Hotel in Edmonton a number of years ago. We also had a tour of the hotel and saw the room where the Queen stayed when she was visiting. It was a fun experience!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun!
DeleteWell, Kat. You could easily make yourself high tea, although it might not give you the same enjoyment without company--and maybe a waiter to serve your scones, jam and cream.

I have had some fun tea parties alone and with friends but would love the atmosphere and the waiter would be nice too,
DeleteHigh Tea? would love all those delish little finger foods and crumpets with jams
ReplyDeleteThere is a tea room semi local to us so might start there.
DeleteThanks for sharing. I love learning little bits like this about people. Congrats on being married for 34 years! Seems like quite a feat these days. :( I would have the hardest time choosing between the beach and the mountains, how about a beach on a mountain?
ReplyDeleteHave fun with a-z.
I love to learn about people myself. Always like to hear the stories of how couples met:) In February we went to the beach; this week we are going to the mountains!
