Cooking will be a challenge until I get used to a new way of cooking. As I understand from the doctor, if you are allergic to wheat but do not have a gluten intolerance it is the wheat germ you are allergic to. White flour has had the wheat germ removed. Doesn't make it safe, just safer than whole wheat. I will be using more rye, barley and oats.Kathy Skinner (Kat)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12062260189125326781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9201245843104552505.post-72236036513758646752012-12-29T16:14:00.935-08:002012-12-29T16:14:00.935-08:00Hmm.. that's going to be hard cutting out the ...Hmm.. that's going to be hard cutting out the beans when you're a veggie. What about TVP? It's a texturized soy protein... are you ok with soy? I don't understand how you can have white flour... ? All flour is made with wheat... is there something they do to it that allows you to be able to eat it? That doesn't make much sense to me.. I think you may be better just to go gluten free all together and get it over with. We have lots of snow here now too... looks pretty, but think my son is sick of shovelling already. lol! Glad you had a nice Christmas! :) ~Carla~https://www.blogger.com/profile/02341057469246030024noreply@blogger.com
